Welcome to This Week in Blogging's Search with AI feature!
This feature came about as part of our article showing how AI can be used as a search engine– bringing back historical Top 10 style SERPs results without the ads and generative AI features that cut out content creators.
At this time, this search feature is only available to those with a ChatGPT subscription as we are not paying for 3rd party API access.
Submit your query as you would in a traditional search, include or exclude modifiers, and a new window will open in a ChatGPT chat box illustrating SERPs-style responses!
Please note: Each submission using the above form will create a new chat on ChatGPT; however, if you search terms in the same chat window, it should (in most cases, at least) continue returning SERPs results in Top 10 format.
This search tool is not without its glitches, and should be treated as a beta test more than anything. Sometimes Top 10 lists do not include links, but regenerating the results will often get links included again. Likewise, some queries may not match the checkboxes 100% of the time. These are current limitations with AI.
This feature is not meant to be a permanent solution to search, and is only meant to illustrate a point- search engines are not immune to AI training.
