It is hard to believe that I have been blogging for over 15 years now, and since starting in 2008, it feels like I've made just about every blogging test imaginable to determine what does and does not work on my sites (be it for traffic, affiliate sales, social media reach, and more).
One common trend I've seen repeatedly is that I make a test, find that the results “didn't work,” write the idea off, and move on to something else. Then, months or years later, I returned to the idea one more time only to find that it worked better than I ever dreamed.
As it turns out, the idea itself wasn't bad, but instead that it I was not analyzing the results correctly or, in most cases, simply doing the test too early in my blogging journey!
So in this one, I thought I'd share a bit more about some lessons I've learned and why you may want to repeat past experiments as your site grows and evolves.

When it comes to getting into affiliate marketing with your blog, we'll be the first to admit that the process is confusing.
Some companies offer their own in-house affiliate programs. Others use 3rd parties that can range from being easy to use to downright frustrating. Even more do not have affiliate opportunities at all!
As affiliate marketing is a topic that comes up time and time again in our Facebook group, we thought we'd take a high level look at the different setups of affiliate programs, namely direct programs vs affiliate aggregators, and provide an analysis on which is better when you have an opportunity to pick between more than one service for a given brand!
Note: This article defines “affiliate aggregators” as 3rd party companies that feature numerous brands under one affiliate platform (e.g. CJ, Awin). Companies that sell numerous 3rd party products in aggregator fashion (e.g. Amazon, Booking.com) may have their own direct affiliate program or be available via aggregator affiliate networks.

When we think about blogging goals, some common thoughts begin to appear.
I want to make $[X]/month.
I want to get on Mediavine.
I want to quit my day job.
These are all great goals that bloggers can and should strive for when turning their blog into a business. But when it comes to your blogging end game, these are not the end but rather a stepping stone to a full and (hopefully) long career creating content for yourself.
In this one, we want to look past these goals and think about the end. The biggest and most likely, final goal you may have with your blog. It is only when thinking about an endgame that you can work backward and figure out the steps you need to take to get there- so let's talk about some of the biggest things worth thinking for each case!

One of my favorite kinds of articles to write when it comes to blogging is known as evergreen content.
This kind of content, named after the type of trees that keep their leaves year-round, is considered by many to be always relevant and able to yield traffic for weeks, months, or even years after the initial post is published.
But while longevity is an excellent reward for bloggers who are successful in writing evergreen content, there are also some associated risks that many of us tend to overlook. So in this one we thought it'd be appropriate to share the breakdown of the risks and rewards in producing evergreen content in blogging!

Stay22 has seen a rapid rise in popularity in recent years from travel bloggers using their curated deep linking, maps with live API pricing, and pop-up tools to really supercharge their hotel affiliate earnings.
Jeremy has been particularly fond of Stay22 as the service helped him increase his travel blogs' affiliate revenue to over $1,000/month (a roughly 5x increase from past monthly averages). He shared more about why he loves the company in his full Stay22 review and also shared a tutorial on how to use Stay22 as well.
In this one, we sat down with Stay22's Chief Revenue Officer, Fred Aouad, to ask some burning questions about Stay22, how they got founded, why they are so useful to bloggers, and, of course, insider tips and advice. Let's get into it now!
